I’ve finally finished redoing the entire game from scratch! To sum it all up, here’s a quick rundown of what I’ve done (technical details in italics—though I know no one cares, but I just gotta brag a little :3):

Pikachu is now visible:
For some reason, Pikachu's animations weren’t playing, and that was literally half of the game lol. But now it’s all sorted with 3 different animations. -
Dialogue System:
The dialogues now form dynamically. This speeds up my creation process a lot! Before, I was manually adding the text bubble, button, sound, and the dialogue itself. It was awful, especially when a scene had a lot of text, and super impractical. Now, I have a JSON that reads the dialogues based on a code I provide. In the future, I might even add versions in Spanish or even Japanese! -
Time System:
Now we have a system that tells whether it's day, afternoon, or night. I can now organize events based on the time of day, and also according to which part of the day it is. -
INVENTORY!!!:
I managed to create an inventory that stores all your items and soon, Pokémon abilities (like cutting, swimming, flying...) Essentially, it works similar to the dialogue system. The item descriptions are already loaded, and it's just a matter of showing the right one based on which item you pick. Damn, I’m really good at programming!
